Peter L. Cedeño - Divorce Attorney
Peter L. Cedeño went to Fordham Prep High School in the Bronx and then received his B.S. in Political Science from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. After college, Mr. Cedeño received his J.D. from Pace University, and in 1994 was admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the Southern and Eastern Districts of the New York federal courts.
Mr. Cedeño began his career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office, where he learned the ins and outs of criminal prosecutions from simple violations to serious felonies. For the past fifteen years, however, Mr. Cedeño has been in private practice focusing primarily on Matrimonial/Family law related matters.
As an active member of the New York State Bar Association's Family Law Section, Mr. Cedeño has lectured on legal issues related to divorce and family law. He is currently on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section and is the Co-Chair of Membership for the section, is an alumnus of the Matrimonial Law Committee of the New York City Bar and is the Former President of the Dominican Bar Association.
Mr. Cedeño is also a representative of the Matrimonial Forensic Inter-disciplinary Forum, and is a founding partner at Perez & Cedeño, P.C. specializing in the areas of Matrimonial and Family law. In this capacity Mr. Cedeño represents clients in all types of divorce and family law cases, from high net worth divorces with significant assets to less complicated divorce actions and family court matters.

H. Benjamin Perez is an experienced New York City divorce and family court lawyer.
He began his career at a well known midtown law firm with an extensive divorce/matrimonial and family law practice that handles hundreds of divorce cases every year, before opening his own practice.
Throughout his career, Mr. Perez has successfully represented clients in divorce and family law cases in the New York City metropolitan area.
Attorney H. Benjamin Perez received his bachelor’s degree from John Jay College, and then went on to obtain his law degree from Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in the heart of New York City.
As a career trial lawyer, H. Benjamin Perez has successfully represented divorce and family law clients at trial and through skillful negotiations resulting in favorable settlements. In addition, H. Benjamin Perez has fought hard for clients with cases in Family Court.
